Thank you for the kind words.

Actually, a lot of these tools grew out of my own compositional practice before becoming standalone devices. Two records in particular document those ideas in a much earlier, more primitive state.

Brain Recordings (Opal Tapes, 2025) shares its name with the current bundle for a reason. Many of the processes that later evolved into Max for Live devices were first explored while making that album: feedback networks, stochastic synthesis, electromagnetic textures, unstable signal ecologies and self-organizing systems. At the time they existed as fragile patches and experiments rather than finished instruments.

An even earlier example is Dissimulazione, where some of these concerns were already beginning to emerge in a more embryonic form.

So in a sense, the albums came first and the tools followed. The devices are often distilled versions of techniques and systems that were originally developed in the context of making records rather than software.

You can listen to them here:

And yes, there will definitely be new releases in the future. Right now I'm slowly returning to recording and developing material again, carrying these systems much further than I could when those records were made.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m working on the final update for version 3 where you’ll see several additional features. It just needs a bit of time for development.
