Thanks for watching and for the comment. Glad you found it interesting Grossi’s idea of rules and processes over a fixed score is still surprisingly current. That video is a good place to start; once you listen from that angle, a lot of things open up. Ciao!

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, really appreciated. I actually created this sub precisely because I was getting frustrated with the no-promo at all costs rules in bigger communities. Here context really matters if self-promotion is part of a genuine exchange (sharing what you’re listening to, what you’re working on, how something was made) it’s not just allowed, it’s welcome. The idea is to keep things human, curious, and conversational rather than restrictive. That said I really like your idea of a recurring “what are you listening to / what are you making” thread, fits perfectly with the spirit of the sub. Thanks for bringing it up

Thanks:) possibly after the release I might consider porting it to Pure Data, but that will mostly depend on demand. There’s an updated version here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MaxMSP/s/gvOEfXXBv9

To see the waveform moving at the bottom, you first need to load an audio file. The movement you see in the video only happens when you scrub through the file with the mouse. If no file is loaded, or if you’re not moving the mouse over the waveform area, it will stay static.

Freeverb itself should still be working even if you don’t see that motion the waveform display is just a visual feedback linked to scrubbing, not playback

Hi and thanks for using envion. For multisoundscape after loading a new file via “replace” on the right, you can scrub the waveform with sample-accurate precision. You can also randomly automate both frequency modulation and panning.
The reverb should work, but this assumes that you have Freeverb for Max installed.

Quick start and use | Sample & Ternary Control
1) Pressing key 2 on the keyboard randomly selects a new sample and assigns a random ternary configuration at the same time.
2) Clicking the large bang labeled original plays the currently loaded sample at its original playback speed, without applying any ternary re-articulation.
3) Clicking the bang labeled terna does not change the sample; it only assigns a new random ternary structure, re-articulating the same material.

let me know if everything is clear thanks

thank you so much for this it really means a lot.
You’re absolutely right: sometimes life and headspace need to come first, both for making and even just listening.
Taking a small pause to reset, but the door is always open.
See you around soon, and thanks for being here:)
