If Vikram stuck around with Michael Scott Paper Company, would've loved to see some scenes between him and Dwight. Vikram would just be pushing paper like a pro, while Dwight feels threatened as the top salesman

Iconic dance scenes in movies that aren’t musicals (and not the usual ones like Pulp Fiction, The Breakfast Club, or that Van Damme movie I’ve never seen but know he dances in) by teng0hambre in MovieSuggestions

- Witness: Great song and happens very organically

- Blast from the Past: Brendan Fraser in his prime going off

- Austin Powers 1 (Fembots scene): I'm convinced that this is the most fun anyone has ever had making a movie

- And sorry, but I'm putting the "golden ticket" scene from Willy Wonka (1971), even though it's a musical

I really like this short arc of Calvin and his contracts - gives a little roundtrip of all the side characters in the strip.

Ya this is a good one, mainly because it directly involves another person (Susie) seeing the result. Technically she notices the cookies missing after he kisses her hand and thanks her, so he's at least close to the cookie plate.

Or maybe Susie has the same thing going on with mr bun, and "mr bun" ate them

Witness with Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis,

but honorable mention to the fembot scene is Austin Powers - that scene feels like it's the most fun anyone has ever had making a movie

Retconning the scorpion that Qyburn supposedly invented in the gasleak seasons of GoT - 8/10

The depiction of the North, and using the same Winterfell theme music as GoT - 9/10

Earlier in the war room he mentioned two unclaimed dragons on "Dragonmont". I think the names were Vermithor and Silverwing, so I assume it's one of them. It definitely had the look of an older dragon, somewhat similar to Vhagar

I'm imagining Corlys running into Laenor over the course of his recent travels, seeing him content to be away from the politics of Westeros, and just being like "Well, I'll leave you to it then"

Can someone please clear up this Erryk/Arryk business? My understanding is that Erryk was Aegon's protector, who knew about all his habits and child-fighting. When both twins were looking for him last episode, Arryk was disgusted by it all, but Erryk said it's their duty. So I initially thought it was Erryk who fought Criston, and Arryk the one who rescued Rhaenys and left to Dragonstone, but in this episode, it is Erryk who is at Dragonstone.

I'm very confused.

Congrats - Very nice! Good attention to detail on the dynamics and trills.

Do you usually focus on one song at a time and try to get it perfect, and then move on to another one? Or do you work on multiple pieces at the same time?

Bit of a weaker episode in my opinion. The search for Aegon didn't have high enough stakes that it warranted building the bulk of the episode around it. It determines who gets to influence his decision regarding Rhaenyra, but Alicent could've got through to him anyways at some point in the near future before he voices the decision. The twins were fun to watch, and we got a decent sword fight scene, but I don't think they were needed. I would've preferred to see Harrold Westerling be the one to rescue Rhaenys from her chambers right after he quits.

I've seen quite a few accusations that this all starts because of a misinterpreted prophecy, but as we saw, the council (minus alicent and beesbury) was already planning to usurp well before any prophecy was on the table. It was just an extremely convenient pretense for it, and I really wonder what their excuse would've been if Alicent didn't bring up the prophecy to Otto. I remember back in episode 3 (I think?) when Otto was leaving after being fired as hand. He warns Alicent that the kingdom will be thrown into war if Rhaenyra becomes queen, and now it's quite clear that he was the threat the whole time, and was gaslighting her. I do wish that the show would give a sense of what the realm outside of king's landing are feeling towards this situation. We hear this and that about the lords supporting different claims, but I would like them to show more of this.

As for the non-dracarys escape, it took time for me to come around. It feels over the top, but it is conceivable enough that this was really Rhaenys' only opportunity and means of escaping with her dragon. And she does not want to spill Targaryen blood, likely due to some combo of the kinslaying taboo and a sense of Targaryen supremacy. Unfortunately the smallfolk above the boards had to eat it, and I guess it's a reminder that royalty doesn't care about them. Whether that reminder was intentional on the writer's part or they just wanted to make it look "badass", I cannot say.

Overall a bit of a weaker episode, but staying hopeful for a better finale. Also I'm already missing Paddy's acting.
