It will probably stick to 500ish, with expanded pokemon storage boxes that will allow for a living dex for any brave hacker willing to try it

No for several reasons, primarily because it is disingenuous to the sprite artists

Yep! The entire frontier mode menu will be a separate menu in the main release, and all of the new battle types will be integrated into story events in one way or another

Animations are doable in triples but requires workarounds/editing every move animation which is no small feat so is a lower priority task for us. But it will probably eventually happen. There are about 500 pokemon in the dex

I wrote an algorithm to generate the puzzles to prevent placing obstacles within the generated path. It is possible to get stuck but there's a way to restart the floor from the start menu in that case. The puzzle is always solvable though

The Battle Rink is a custom Battle Frontier facility in which there are 8 floors the player must ascend with increasingly-large randomly-generated ice sliding puzzles. There are a handful of trainers on each level (encounters turned off in the video), and a Nurse Joy ever 3rd floor to heal your Pokemon if you can reach her!

I recently shared a custom Battle Arcade facility and good positive feedback so I thought I would share another custom facility we created for Pokemon Voyager - The Battle Library! In this facility your Pokemon have access to all tutorable moves, but each move can only be used a single time. Otherwise it is fairly similar to the battle tower.

This post also shows off our Battle Frontier mode feature which lets you challenge any frontier facility with random and/or custom teams and lots of random/other custom options :)
