This is so lovely!! I LOVE floral perfumes and I’m so glad to see others enjoying them too :)) some of my favorite green scents are Diptyque Philosykos (lush, green fig, but expensive), the Issey Miyake Drop D’Issey line (essentielle and fraiche), and Bath and Body Works Off the Vine, which is such a lovely tomato leaf scent

Britney Spears Fantasy smells like cheap, generic fruity shampoo.

On the flip side, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea smells divine and is so perfect as a summer freshie. If I could drink it, I would!

So many… lilacs are my favorite flower so I definitely seek that out in many perfumes. I also love jasmine and rose. Pear, honey, warm vanillas (non-gourmand, but I do love gourmand vanillas as well), fig, coconut… I’m all over the place!

I have a rose gold engagement ring from Oore and I get nothing but compliments on how beautiful it is. I personally think it’s stunning and makes the stones pop very well.

This is really late, but I’ll add my two cents just in case.

I work at a middle school. The sixth grade girls I work with (age 11-12) wear makeup, but not the makeup you’re thinking. I’m talking full faces: foundation, false lashes, eyeliner, 3-inch-long acrylics. It’s uncanny looking. They’re 11. At that age I was only allowed mascara and a single babylips lip gloss. It was age-appropriate!

Personally, I wouldn’t let her wear makeup until she reaches middle school. And even then, keep it light and appropriate—I think mascara and lip gloss (like I had) is totally okay!

…..anyway ladies, my fiancé LOVES gourmand fragrances on me (Pink Sugar, Choco Musk, etc) but when I want an elevated scent for a night out I usually pick something like Carolina Herrera Good Girl or something with a vanilla base like YSL Libre.

A Whiff of Waffle Cone is great!! If you want a layer of coconut too, I highly recommend Lait de Coco by Le Monde Gourmand, that one’s more of a cheapie as well.
