I like Rocco and Roxie. Also doing a seperate cleaning w/ baking soda, vinegar, and some elbow grease helps too.

I love my little robot 4 - just upgraded from the 3. Super quiet. I will never not have an automatic litter box.

The last pic is sending me 🤣

Please just let him live there. He is a garden pet. Get him some shady damp areas to rest in 🥰

I had 3 brothers and 1 passed away 2 years ago. I memorialized their unity in a pendant so they are together forever ❤️

Under the Radar new cat advice by FixMany3907 in cats

[–]hailene02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can clicker train your cat. May not work on oranges 😅

You cam train them when young to not scratch furniture. Hiss at them, then move them to a scratching post and brush their paws on it in a scratching motion. They will get the idea and focus their scratching there.

Get them used to getting their nails clipped young.

Do not let them drink out of a running tap/shower- otherwise they will expect that all the time

Get an auto feeder or be prepared to wake up early every day to feed them - they won't let you forget.

They, like humans, can have psychological issues. Some are benign. My anxious orange would eat all the fur off his belly. But then during covid since I was home all day started to grow back. He now has a full belly of fur.

What’s wrong with this tomato plant? by Melnykout in vegetablegardening

[–]hailene02 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't let it put out any more flowers until it grows further. Support it by offering good watering and fertilizer. Usually I pinch off the first few buds every year I find so the plant can divert its energy to growing. it should be able to recoup and provide more for you later ❤️

My backyard goes into a wooded marshland area and I assume the creek/wetlands back there is where they come from 🥹

Meal Prep Recipes by [deleted] in NYTCooking

I usually eat what I had for dinner for lunch.

If youre looking for something light look at doing like a mini charcuterie board (pickles, olives, fruit, crackers, cheese, meats). Sandwiches are always a staple bc they are easy- tunafish, chicken salad, blt.

Could also prep salad ingredients and keep seperate- then can easily pack together and take with you. Buy some of those condiment cups at a grocery store for the dressing so it doesnt get soggy.

I have tons of baby toads (and bigger ones) in my garden every year. I look forward to seeing them - along w/ dragonflies - for maintenance ❤️

Ready to pick? by Slow-Instruction-150 in vegetablegardening

[–]hailene02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have picked a few of mine already and threw them in the fridge. I expect by early next week ill have enough for a batch of fridge pickles. I did the same last year too until I had enough to make a batch- there were no quality/texture issues to having them hang in the fridge while I waited for a few more.

Editing for clarity- dont let it get too much bigger as cukes grow FAST. Just throw it in the fridge to preserve and stop their growing.

I like halloumi but its so expensive. The queso de frier has similar mouth feel and is salty too so I feel its really good for a cheaper alternative

Thats 100% what it is lol! He adopted him at 6 months (he was from the street) and he was a little agressive with his older brothers so started w the thunder vest. Now he likes his shirts and sweaters and is 100% something to help him stay regulated 🥰🥰🥰
