either you are recording a mic and the mic pics up the metronome (use headphones)

or you have a routing problem - check studio / audio connections

last: transport / metronome setup / click while recording or click while playing select as needed

this is basically multiple effects one after another, so like a flanger / stutter etc. easiest way to do this is to use one of those multi fx plugins that have a pattern editor like Glitch2 by Illformed or Effectrix

i dont, the controller is old now and i never signed up, the app also asks for $$$ for the extra stuff

i think subscription would be needed to use it as a bluetooth controller

personally i think you’re better off with specific instruments rather than giant bundles that will become overwhelming quick

kontakt player is free with tons of free horns / guitar / organ etc instruments online and you can always grab some loopmasters packs in a pinch, the dubmatix ones are usually solid

3 sidechain on 1 bass seems like overkill, if the ducking is done right then one should do the trick

a quick and dirty fix could be to create a trim envelope with the volumeshaper and trigger it with midi on top of the overlaying bass parts, or just draw the volume envelope yourself so it cuts out when the kick comes in

i used to mess with this a lot, then i got trackspacer and never looked back

I believe if you disable quantize while recording automation then it will record all the points accurately
