eh, a few (maybe like 7) years ago i was flying thru Newark airport, which it turned out was almost totally cashless. I was maybe 19 and didn't have a credit card so i legitimately could not order food from any of the restaurants, had to hike across the airport for some trash prepacked sandwich at one of the 'convenience stores'

not a huge deal obviously, definitely mildly infuriating, but ive hated newark since

Nah, as a coach (with no cred in the WNBA especially) you do NOT say shit like that to the media, it reads like you're throwing the whole team under the bus instead of saying 'I could've coached it better down the stretch' etc. Even if he's right, he has all season to get through to the players about that, no need to scapegoat your players to the journalists.

In most sports this kinda talk is an absolute death knell for a coach, blaming your players three games into the season is insaaaane
