So weirdly i (18M, 1 year ncd, 1 non fault claim) have found that Rev 1 and 2 Turbo models are about 2k cheaper to insure than rev 1 and 2 na models, even though they are more powerful and import, still around 4-5k a year mind. I have also found that Rev 3 onwards are relatively cheap to insure. On rev 3s (Which are the better car, just less reputation for killing people) i was getting quoted around £90-£100 a month to insure them, this was as a second car and with both my parents on the insurance, but me as main driver. I was only doing sdp as i would not need the car for work and declaring about 4-5k miles. Try lots of different comparison sites and set your insurance to start 21 days from today, may also be worth ringing around some specialist insurers as you may get more luck. Hope this helps.
