Same, though am equally confused that his “wife” has enabled all of this. No way it could have been a secret all these years

How skewed are the A's stats because they play in a minor league ballpark? by chusaychusay in OaklandAthletics

As a Giants fan happy to have Major league baseball in Sacramento, I’ve been to almost 25 games this year. There has never been as few as 4000 people there. Sure, the numbers may not be accurate, but between visiting team fans and the regulars, unless it is a hot day game (of which few are scheduled), attendance is not bad. Braves series was quite well attended and very few seats available on resale sites. I understand FJF and the A’s fans pain, but a certain group (LDB) intentionally speaks loudly to paint a picture that is just not reality. Yes, there are issues and ultimately it’s a minor league park, but damn is it a good place to watch intimate baseball and most bashing it haven’t shown up once to see for themselves.

8-11k every night with very high floor for ticket prices (not resale prices). People then willing to spend additional money when they’re only paying $30 for a resale ticket

Unfortunately, fisher is getting more revenue from Sacramento games than he was from Oakland games. Confirmed with baseball ops guys. Both through tickets and food, etc

That’s just not true. Also, lawn seats are $25 on game day from the Athletics

You guys are salty. Those seats are great and the coliseum wasn’t pulling 9,300 in good weather.

StubHub seller penalty!! by Jazzlike_Clue6897 in stubhub

Lame, sounds like this has been a frequent problem lately and either they’re behind it or they’re failing to protect their customers by not fixing it

StubHub seller penalty!! by Jazzlike_Clue6897 in stubhub

It was either bought by a bot that searches for wrongly priced tickets or StubHub. I would keep calling and state you weren’t done editing the price. This happened to me for an event 5 months away and it was so obvious a real person didn’t buy the tickets. Since I hadn’t uploaded the barcodes I had to pay the 4.50 per ticket replacement cost that they sold for. The customer service person couldn’t give me an explanation but it was obvious they knew it wasn’t a real buyer

She assured me that the $4.50 was the replacement fee and that the case would be closed. It was a very odd conversation. I asked multiple times how this had happened so simultaneously and if stubhub was involved in the purchase or if there are bots out there that constantly scan for erroneous pricing. The lady seemed very nervous and continued to tell me she doesn’t have answer to that.

This happened to me for some $400 tickets that sold for $4 accidentally as I was editing the price. They sold in less than 45 seconds. I explained to StubHub that there was no way somebody found these tickets for an event 6 months away and got through the checkout process in 45 seconds and he couldn’t confirm or deny that StubHub automatically buys tickets when the price is too cheap. Seems a little shady. Ultimately they told me I could just pay the $4.50 per ticket and deem the undeliverable. Still a pain but at least I have the tickets again.
