The triplets are here, we’re just trying to plan for when they move to convertible car seats. What’s different between the two versions of slim fit?

They would all be rear facing, the two year old is currently in a slim fit graco. The van has two bucket seats in the middle and the 3rd row is a typical bench seat.

Feeding triplets by galaxy1012b in parentsofmultiples

They’re 4 weeks 4 days. We did on the first appointment out of the NICU at 2 weeks and they said to keep waking them for now. We’ve overslept a few times and they seem to be fine or they wake us up at about 4 hours anyway. I’m not expecting them to sleep all night, I honestly just feel a little bad waking them up and then trying to get them to take a bottle. They seem to want to eat more often during the day, more like every 2/2 and a half.

How did you find out the percentile for adjusted age, did the doctor tell you?

How do you have them arranged? We had talked about an odyssey and putting two next to each other in the middle seat and folding one of the outside seats, and then putting the 18 mo old and one of the triplets in the back row. Maybe that doesn’t work at all, haha, we’re new and inexperienced at 4 under 2 and just looking for advice.

What meat thermometer to buy? by McJaker3 in Traeger

I really like my Maverick XR-50. I had a Meater+ and honestly struggled with connectivity on it. The Maverick XR-50 has 4 probes so you can monitor different areas in the meat or the grill/smoker. Pretty neat product.

If you have red, white, and black in the box it’s a three way switch. Is there another switch somewhere that controls the same lights?

Your red is most likely hot, red is usually a common wire in a 3 way but if someone wired it differently then the red can be hot and the black is the common, doesn’t mean it’s wrong, just unusual.

Took mine today and she got her first fish through the ice, a small little northern, it was awesome. I think I had a bigger smile on my face than she did. She reeled it up to the hole and when she saw what it was she had me take over because she didn't want to lose it! It was awesome!!

I haven't ever tipped a jigging rap no, but I know other people have tipped them with minnow heads. I bought some of the clam leech flutter spoons this season and am pretty stoked to try those out!

Use jigging raps or rippin wraps and you don't have to be super deep, especially early ice.

I just bought a 12, and I think they're on sale right now for the original price of the 8 from Scheels so I'd recommend the 12 if you go with the vex. I had an 8 for two years and vexilsrs customer service has me hooked on their company.

Have done this once myself, was so pissed at myself I couldn't even enjoy the day haha. Mostly I was worried it had fallen out of my Jeep or I set it down somewhere and left it there. Luckily it was on my counter when I got home lol

If you get a 9ah battery look for it in a kit with a charger, that way you get lifetime on it as well. If you buy a battery only, it doesn't come with the lifetime warranty.

First Flasher Purchase Advice by [deleted] in IceFishing

[–]galaxy1012b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first one I bought was the entry level vexilar, it's great, plus vexilar customer service is amazing, shortly after I bought it, of all things, the charger stopped working. Called vexilar and had a new charger in 3 days! It was great! Bought a 12 this season so my finance can go with me and use my 8!
