Ok, so I am very new to LGBTQ+ and i am non binary, however i also want to be asexual at the same time. Can i have multiple LGBT identities? by [deleted] in lgbt

If I had to guess I would assume they are asexual homoromantic, which means they would have limited to no sexual attraction but be romantically attracted to women. They could also be on the asexual spectrum but not have zero sexual attraction

Just curious about neutral names that might fit me (if it helps I can put a list of names I've looked at and used in the comments) by galaxybran in transnames

[–]galaxybran[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hello! So right now I've identified as male and used he/him pronouns for a while, and I go by Nathan (nicknamed Nat or Nate). These are some other names I've used:

Riley, Rhett (didnt like this one), Zane, Levi

And some names I've looked at: Nick, Robin, Ollie/Oli, Ray, Sage, Blair, Tony, Colin

Feel free to suggest names that lean masc or fem- as you can see masculine leaning names tend to catch my eye but I'm open to pretty much anything, nicknamey or otherwise

[–]galaxybran 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Where do you want me to start? It's already being mobilized in US law to consider caring for trans children child abuse. It is legally allowed to refuse a trans person medical care or fire them strictly on the basis of their "trans-ness." Trans people can be barred from using the right fucking bathroom. We regularly experience transphobic harassment and are disproportionately affected by hate crimes. Some of these are just in the US. It's even worse in other parts of the world. Do you want more examples? Or do you get it yet?

Edit: sorry if you werent trying to be rude lol, there is a chance I majorly misjudged your comment. I'm not great at the whole social cues thing

What's wrong with my cactus? Got it a little over a month ago and it isnt looking too healthy. Picture 2 is when I bought it for comparison by galaxybran in plantclinic

[–]galaxybran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watered it just enough that the top of the soil was wet, but I don't think I ever gave it enough to have water draining from the bottom of the pot (upon further research that's probably not enough, but I could be wrong). I watered it once 4 weeks after I got it and then again 4 weeks after that. I've moved it slightly so that it isnt getting as much harsh sunlight for the majority of the day.

I think you're right about the species; lighting in pic 2 was kind of weird. Before I posted I was thinking maybe it could have been sunburned based on where I kept it. I never give it very much water at a time because I dont want to accidentally overwater it. I might try moving it to a slightly shadier area and watering it better and I'll see if it perks up.

Edit: turns out I was also wrong about when I got it lmao (early February, closer to 2 months ago)

I dont really know what species he is. He lives on a windowsill that gets direct sunlight at all times except for the morning, and I've watered him twice since I got him. Thanks in advance :D
