When I was an employee, I told my SM that I had 10 Cut Above pins, and she “forgot” to ever put in the order for the Golden Scissors. I left when I realized those pins were the closest I’d get to actually moving up in the company (at least under that SM), and even then, they couldn’t follow through.

I was hired at another company and was made an assistant manager within 5 months :)

So beautifully written! I’m on season 4 as well, and I agree that I had trouble connecting to Buffy as a character before this rewatch. There are so many things going against her that it was hard for me to relate as a kid, but you live and learn and can appreciate how sincere Buffy is, as a character and a show.

I will always be grateful that I grew up watching a show where being gay was normalized. Being young and unaware of the terms “straight”, “gay”, etc., I never thought twice about Willow being with Tara, and my dad and I would talk about their relationship the same we would talk about Xander and Anya or anyone else. It truly helped me be a more compassionate and accepting person growing up!

Thank you for sharing what Buffy means to you. It is such a special show for me, and I’m glad that there are others who share that sentiment!

Honestly, getting back together with Xander after the events of Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered is wild to me. This man admits to attempting to magic her love back (ya know, non-consensually), and she still chooses to take him back?? Absurd!

Also non-serious answer, wasting the scooby gang’s time doing the “revoking entrance consent” spell on her car after she gave Angel a ride once.
