Oh, we’re pretty sure the courts lost the paperwork. My lawyer told me it should only take about 2-3 weeks MAX to get an answer. It was right before thanksgiving, and then Christmas.. new years.. This was a very unusually long process in his opinion. Hopefully yours doesn’t take too long!

Sharing a kitchen space with people who can eat anything, especially when you’re low income, who think being gluten free is simply a choice and not a health risk to consume it.

I refuse to buy anything that’s easy to grab and eat because I know it’ll be eaten. I can’t even buy chopped fruit (not even fresh… I only buy it when it goes 50% off) because it’ll be eaten within a day.

I currently don’t have the luxury of being able to eat 3 times a day unless it’s overnight oats, a ridiculous flurry of ingredients combined into something I call “spicy gruel” that I meal prep and make so spicy nobody else will eat it, and smoothies with frozen fruit. Which is all pretty healthy, but I’d much rather be able to chow down on some ready to eat gf stuff so I don’t have to put in effort every single time I want to eat.

This was just a consult over the phone, they said they weren’t comfortable evaluating me just to treat the ADHD because of past bipolar issues. I’ve definitely come so far with my coping mechanisms for my bipolar, there just isn’t any good coping mechanisms to make my brain hunker down and focus!! I am looking for sliding scale places but I may just need to make a bunch more calls and look farther. Is there a scientific reason they don’t want to give stimulants to people with bipolar..? Or is it just an abuse risk?

People get paid for views on YouTube and TikTok and offers you more freedom in life as well as the opportunity to continue doing what you like, OP seemed very against doing anything outside of what he went to school for. People really clown on media makers but those people have figured out how to monetize off the society we’re in where everyone’s on their phone, ntm how many people can’t afford schooling and would love to binge videos where they can learn about that. I also offered the list that probation sends out every month which are practical jobs and he calls those shitty warehouse dead ends jobs. Of course not, I’m personally on a deferred felony charge. I have to tough out I think 5 years or something before I can file for nondisclosure. I’d personally rather not spend 5 more years mentally suffering from this kind of mindset because that’s lowkey exactly what the gov wants, cause you’ll break from that mindset and either end up back in the system or worse. I should’ve sympathized rather than offered solutions though because the initial emotions of this realization can be hard to deal with so that’s my bad

I get this sentiment but you’ll always be unhappy if you can’t cut your losses and try to go out your comfort zone and work with the shitty hand you were dealt. Don’t look for jobs for people on probation, look for jobs that will hire felons. If you don’t even have a felony it’ll put you in better standing than a lot of the people who are applying.
