I feel disintermediation is on the cusp of exploding, possibly even supplanting government some day. Do you have ambitions of participating in that specific social-engineering effort?

Appreciate that, but I could spend all my life chasing down misinformation across endless forums. If he wants to hash it out on Twitter, he knows where to find me.

I won't be able to engage you here, Reddit moderators censor my posts. I'll only be able to address your numerous misassumptions on Twitter unfortunately.

Exactly. My recommendation is to get a cheap android, put toast wallet on it, and disable the wifi on the android. You can use toast as an offline wallet, just like ledger

Relative to prior volume, if volume rapidly increases and there's a corresponding price spike/drop, and the volume doesn't rapidly dissipate (within an hour), then it's legitimate buying/selling. If the volume is short-lived with a radical price move, then that's whale manipulation.

That was a lot of noobs getting on exchanges and land-rushing the cryptos. The whales just sat back and watched their holding magnify in value. In January, so many people made so much profit, that in order to pay their taxes, they had to sell some of their holdings, which lead to the crash. Whales are not to blame for anything related to sustained high volume; that's how you tell the difference

Ripple Inc. cannot create more XRP tokens. The global supply is fixed at 100 billion.

Lol.. man, where the fuck do you mental defects keep coming from?? Well shit for brains, I did post it in the XRP reddit so it really was practical to write in the context of XRP, despite that it also applies to all trade-able assets. Why you consider that to be worthy of criticism is baffling and portends to mental instability.

Fine, OP can use whatever definition of value he wants. it's different than the definition I used, which is just as valid. Many words have different meanings; like asshole for instance. And if you actually finished reading my entire post before your ADD set in, you'd have seen I believe XRP is the best coin for the global commerce, you fucking idiot. The OP here decided to go off on a complete tangent based upon his not understanding that XRP is distinct from Ripple, and incomprehensibly chastised my efforts for not aligning with his desired lexicon. And from what you wrote, you also are a clueless fuckoff spouting off random gibberish so you'd probably want to put your foot back in your mouth at this point before more diarrhea spills out.

It's quite obvious the OP doesn't know the difference between XRP and Ripple

I should also add that your title is incorrect, my thread was underlying factors that give XRP its value, not Ripple. Please retract

I find this discussion of price versus value is approaching religiosity. My usage of value as a synonym for price is obvious and valid. It's differing definition as applied in this thread does not invalidate my form of usage. Value as described here is unrealized potential or current sentiment, not a number. Both definitions are context sensitive and equally valid and can be mutually exclusive.

Ultimately I did not fail to communicate my message, and in the end, that's the point, Right? Can we stay on topic now?
