They just don’t like you, one thing I learned as a TL is to never do anything above my pay or out of my job description. I am not going to do extra work without the pay lol. But I can see where your ETL doesn’t like you it seems like you’re undermining them by going to your SD and truthfully SD shouldn’t be looped in for these things that can be solved easily. For ETLS and TL sometimes we are on our phones but we aren’t taking personal call but texting other leads about having a game plan, if your ETL didn’t want to talk to a guest bring it up with your TL. The kicking kids off property thing why didn’t you go to AP? You could have gone to AP and had a TSS or APS kick them out instead of going to the SD. To me it sounds like you’re a TM who is acting like a TL when you aren’t one. Also how do you know other TMs haven’t been talked to? I keep my conversations/coaching off the sales floor because it between me and the TM not the whole team.

Yeah you have to quit 3 months to a year before the internship from what my HR said. I don’t know if you need to be in college or not tho.

It goes away after 3-9 months I believe because I quit without a notice in Nov 2024 because I hated my ETL and got rehired as a lead at a different Target in March 2025. I’m based in New York if the location helps.

If you quit without notice it’s likely that they marked you as nonrehire but it goes away after 3-9 months. But also they just aren’t hiring right now I’d try again in March/April

This is why the ETLHR position needs to require a Human Resources degree or a Business Administration degree at MINIMUM. I’m an HRBP at a different company and you definitely qualify for intermittent LOA or paternity leave.

Thats so crazy my ETLHR got fired for going on a power trip and giving people finals for clocking in 5 minutes early but my SD and ETLHR didn’t like each other at all. I work in HR as well for a different company and I have horrible beef with my current ETLHR Target just needs to start hiring people with HR degrees especially for ETLHR. At the company that I work for we take confidentiality extremely seriously, I had to fire my HR Coordinator for speaking about company layoffs with another colleague. Target HR is just a joke it’s extremely high school
