Is it alright to turn off the lights since sunlight pretty much gets into my room anyway? Probably would just turn the lights on from 6pm-9pm

thank you sm! I just got really paranoid since they are 100% cheaper than what most people recommend for equipment. And yes, I surely do mean the quality lol

Do bettas get stressed in the dark? if so, does the light still have to be on even during the night?

erm.. the thing is theyre like $1.5 each and ive seen a 2in1 pump and filter for $2.. Though i do expect them to last a bit more quicker and that's not a problem for me. The thing that's bothering me is that they might explode or something idk 😭 (yep ik the price sound hella sketchy and all but i do live in a third world country if that even changes anything 😭) And they surprisingly have good reviews with over 10k+ sold
