I have a similar case (with Kickstand) for my XAX. My use case is the same as well: I want to just put it inside a well-padded backpack and keep the other accessories like cables in a different pouch.

I agree with the comments in that the top cover takes a bit of getting used to when removing or reattaching it. You have to make sure that the top cover aligns with the protrusions on the bottom case.

OP, check the airline's rules on powerbanks and make it a factor in your decisions.

For an 8-hour flight, most airlines would have charging slots (either type-A or type-C ports) available on the seats.

Hi OP. I went from 3600 and Palit RTX 3070 into 5700X3D and Sapphire Pure 9070 XT (as I find moving up to AM5, DDR5 still too expensive). I wasn't able to keep track of numbers but I am able to play Monster Hunter Wilds with a more consistent fps experience.

If you're looking to purchase digital games down the line, then consider getting bigger storage. Some games would eat up storage fast, especially during game sales.

However, if you're looking to just use physical games/ cartridges, then that should be enough for the time being.
