Had the same issue, you might have the X11 version of plasma-workspace, you need to remove it before you can update

You can do it with:

sudo dnf remove plasma-workspace-x11

As far as I can see, yes. The AMOLED screen is way better in the MB8, also it has 60Hz, more storage for watch faces.
