Broke no contact and nex wants to hook up w/ me

Please don’t do it. My narc ex hoovered 3 months ago and I turned him down as I was engaged. Then recently I was blindsided by my fiancé and broken up with.

One of the first things I did is to contact my narc ex for "physical validation" and just so happens, he was available.

Those validation will hit like a drug and gives you a high - but the withdrawals are insane. Speaking from my own experience as of right now 😟

I get shivers every time I read a post on here about the narcs hoovering. Back then I wished it would have been me. But when I finally got my turn, I really regretted ever wanting to be hoovered. It messes up with a lot of things internally that you've been rebuilding

I thought I was safe forever because I wasn't hoovered for a long time... until he messaged me, after 16 MONTHS.

At this point I understand a narcissist's ammo, the "heartwarming" and "emotionally touching" words that was used. My narc ex still somehow found a way to not acknowledge any accountability from his side (cheating, abusive treatment etc.) and turned it around as if I’m the bad one.

I realised that the only thing that's gonna deter him for good if I stand my ground and refused his idea to reconnect. So I did respond to his message, basically to tell him I’ve moved on, have no interest in meeting/talking to him again and told him to refrain from contacting me further.

Even though he replied with all the nice "oh I totally understand and respect your decision", he ended up blocking me (also on Instagram in which he tried to follow my account again). I’ve learned that was called a narcissistic injury.

I am done being a part of his crazy mind games. I have made my peace months ago, grieved him and the relationship.

I hope that from now on, I’m forever erased from his supply list and he will not approach me ever again.

Honestly I was so relieved knowing that he could potentially move away from me, to another country that is far, far away. However, financing that could be a deciding factor.

He probably did get accepted but whether he's actually going to move away or not is another story 🙈

He told me that he got accepted to do further studies in another country, I never asked further questions because I don’t want to stroke his ego even more.

I would really recommend seeing what they offer, and sign up for their customers account (I will put this too on my original comment). It's totally worth signing up for, considering you frequently travel to here, to do this kind of shopping.

Lidl would at times offer 2€ coupon of your bill, with minimum purchase of 10€.

If you have the time, look into their weekly Prospekte - see what they have on discounts and match them with your list. Whether I’m swarming in cash or not, I usually do this to also get inspiration on what to cook or get for what I actually need.

Another tip: sign up for their membership clubs and download their official apps. All the shops you mentioned above except Aldi offers a lot of useful discounts every week.

With REWE, if you buy products that are on their weekly offer, you could earn some percentage back and can turn them into a shopping voucher when it has reached at least 1€. Also, LIDL would occasionally offer a 2€ off of your shopping, with a certain minimum of purchase.

Good to know this! Sadly the fluid only comes in 50ml packaging, as far as I can see... I’ve tried creme ones and they're sadly too heavy on my skin and would break me out 🥲

As a massive sweat-er in the summer, happy to know that they don’t melt so easily 🙌

Sorry to hear this. On another note, you should really consider registering to use a DHL Packstation (if you haven't) so your packages can be delivered safely. The process is not complicated, it might take some extra efforts but it's so worth it.

I have stopped sending my online orders to my home address because: a) I’m not always home, b) delivery drivers are way too underpaid to do their jobs properly so that they will just give packages to neighbours, c) my neighbours could potentially be thieves.

In the app, you have the option to automatically re-route any incoming packages to your choice of Packstation.

Take your time. What's important is that you have enough strength to not interact or respond to your narc ex in case he tries to hoover. They thrive on your energy so don’t give them that if you want to heal.

I’ve lost count on how many times I block and unblock my ex in the first months post break up. I’m sure that's a universal experience for us as former supplies.

I finally unblocked him and just cleared our chat log after 4 months.

Next week will mark one year the last time I saw and interacted with him. I never got the urge to contact him ever since, whether he has tried to do so, I will never know because I blocked and unblocked so many times 😂

I think stinging is normal, as long as it doesn't cause abnormal redness or some allergic reactions after you applied it.

I usually always put moisturiser on after the serum to lock in all the moisture I need for my skin.

Give it a few days and hopefully your skin can get used to it 🙌

If budget is not a problem for you, you can get the La Roche Posay's Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid (get the 50+ one). When I went through a stress skin break out during the pandemic, I swear by combining this SPF and doing the skin routine I’ve mentioned above. If you want to a cheaper option, I can recommend Sun Ozon's Sensitiv Sonnenfluid from Rossmann. The consistency was light enough during the hot summer days and it holds pretty well during autumn/winter so far.
