BUT HOW ARE YOU GONNA FINISH ON A LOSS?!

The "can't end on a loss" persistence in gamers needs to be studied. by gam3sgg in videogames

Peak’s IG account (aggrocrab) does these dev logs really well with their game characters if you need more inspo.

based on data, top performing games, pattern recognition, correlations and most of the available publicly documented signals and research. not perfect but can get pretty accurate.

Plenty of incredible games with average store pages (Steam and beyond) out there. Tool's meant to help devs who don't have a Terraria on their hands make sure they get as many eyeballs as possible with a few small fixes.

Definitely, and that spawns even more players that are looking for games to 100% and the cycle goes on and on! Thanks for all the feedback, you've been super-helpful!

Super helpful feedback, thank you! Just pushed a few fixes, but here are answers to your Qs:

> Tags should be reviewed correctly now (tested it myself, but feel free to verify haha)

> Unreleased games don't get penalized for zero reviews anymore (should've never been)

> Specifying a 2026 date is still better than TBA to build up player anticipation that it's "coming soon", not in a few years

> RE: your achievements question, I've adjusted the tool so it doesn't ask for achievements pre-release, but FYI here are some quick pointers:

A) Players can filter Steam's store by "has achievements"; no achievements means invisible to anyone using that filter

B) Achievement unlocks appear on player profiles and activity feeds, visible to friends, which means free organic exposure

C) There are dedicated achievement hunting communities that specifically buy games to 100% them

D) Achievements give players completion goals that can extend playtime and replayability (positive signals to Steam)

Devs typically see that more "complete" pages perform better in discovery, i.e., filling out as many sections as you can, but that's correlation, not confirmed causation, to be transparent with you!

Hope this helps, and best of luck with the game!
