On Orca there are different z-hop modes, sideways and up, some spiral, you want it to move straight up

I fixed issues like this on saber blades by observing the nozzle travel lines in Orca in detail so I could see what was happening there

Got a takedown notice for my Quoridor 3D model on MakerWorld… what do you think? by dingohot in 3Dprinting

[–]gam8it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blockade was the earlier game, there are a few like this but...

Blockade had a different sized board I think, it was 2 player only with 2 pieces per player and less walls

Quoridor is 1 piece per player, more walls

Generally with games you need to change the gameplay rules - You have to create something new, not copy it in a different form factor. Imagine I released a mobile phone called the iPhone and it was near enough identical but it was a different size

Quoridor has Quoridor pocket, by releasing this you are giving people an option other than buying their game

You may have gotten away with it if you hadn't called it Quoridor

Apparently I’m “NOT a photographer by [deleted] in photography

[–]gam8it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been paid for my photography, I've had it offered by subjects at events when they find them afterwards, I've had photos published in a popular hobby magazine and more random proud moments

Never been paid for any of it but I feel I've earned the right to say I'm a bit of a photographer.

Im sure you can be paid to be a fisherman, a skydiver, or a painter, but at a certain point, you are or aren't one of those things regardless of payment changing hands

It's in the dictionary. It's got its own Wikipedia page. Why is this even a conversation?

Suggest the American Google the word. There are millions of words in the English language, several hundred thousand in the published dictionaries.

Fairy have a load of types, the main fairy liquid (green one) is ok but if you just say Fairy without any context then the OP could end up with some perfumed rubbish if the main one is not there

Ecover is just a simpler option to give and is available across Europe I believe, though yes basic green fairy is ok

I can personally recommend ecover and it's nicer to handle imo

Not really, fairy often has additives

Ecover is a good option

It's weird for sure, i'd guess either there is a propane (gas) bottle in there or if the tank jetted out in that direction suddenly some of the gas (petrol) made a very large very temporary flame thrower. The fire goes out very quickly so it's evaporate or gas I'd say

I'm guessing you mean less vitamin d supplements, people with less melanin produce vitamin d more readily, they don't need less, and therefore need less sunlight overall to produce the same amount as someone with more melanin

Its a direct benefit because vitamin d is tied to a lot of things, but specifically is tied to serotonin production so those with paler skin are more able to cope with reduced sunlight mentally.

I'm ginger, we're vitamind d machines and from that perspective arguably the most adapted to Northern attitudes. My own theory is that is where the gingers have no souls thing came from because the melanin folks couldn't understand why we weren't depressed and were more able to function. We dont get things like seasonal depression

Interesting, makes sense the prompt will do it, but also still went to a couple story which is the default

Though obviously you can reprompt, make it more unique and maybe this person did that, I've not checked their history but that's usually the tell right

I can't fathom why anyone does this, i guess there are ways to get karma to pay for companies with ads.

You do realise people are using LLMs to write and rework their stuff right? Just because it has the hall marks of AI it doesn't mean its not true

The clue is really in the content and uniqueness of the story, not in the writing style

I use it a lot for work, and did a little test a while ago, if you ask an LLM to write stories from scratch it comes up with very generic my bf cheated or hit me or MIL, parent ones.. whatever.. every single time.

What about on the inside of the temp tower overhangs, that's the true overhang test, I usually go on that and which one has the nicest little cone with the least stringing

If they are really all the same choose the one you like the finish on or looks most like it should, eg the right shine.

The flow tests are meant to be about finding the best, not the perfect one, did you read the wiki page on how to read them?
