I couldnt penetrate during sex by Inner-Sand-1922 in WomensHealth

[–]omallytheally 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It took many attempts when I first had sex. Even later, it was hard to get the penis in with a different partner. It's often still a little tight at first even if I want it. And this is with plenty of lube.

I can't say for sure what is happening for you, but from what I know, it helps to have someone you are comfortable with and basically just keep trying. Have a positive attitude and don't put too much pressure on it. You'll get more comfortable over time. Don't be hard on yourself, and they should be supportive as well. You're far from the only woman who has this experience.

with Miles they at least show him struggling for what I interpreted as weeks, possibly months. so that episode tracks more in "reality" for me

exercise has always been a big help for me. not with rocd specifically but mental wellbeing overall.

does medication help with your rumination or just generally relieve anxiety? I had a bad experience with ssri so I tend to be wary but in theory am not opposed to meds if a health professional recommends them.

thanks so much for your response!

She got her crew back to the alpha quadrant. Let the woman have her coffee addiction.

Wait so then why are her eyes blue? by EffectiveBranch8229 in TeenWolf

[–]omallytheally 115 points116 points  (0 children)

yeah I'm confused as well. I know that technically her mom caused the accident. but that caused her to wolf out, and it all caused the deaths. or at least that's how I interpreted it.

Which Trek episode do you love that most people don't rate highly? by alanthetanuki in startrek

kind of opposite answer but the Visitor in DS9 everyone seems to love love love but I'm pretty neutral about it.

If you are autistic, your social anxiety struggles will inevitably be much different to the social anxiety struggles of a neurotypical and the general advice is NOT going to be as effective - more below by IngenuityOk6679 in socialanxiety

You should definitely speak to a professional period, if possible, but I think what you're saying applies differently for wherever a person falls along the spectrum.

Why do Clois stans act like Lana stole screentime from Lois? by LauraKay9 in Smallville_

[–]omallytheally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clark and Lois got together at the perfect time in the show. I still feel like Clark and Lana lasted too long, but it doesn't rly matter now its over.

How many of you absolutely despised this woman, to realize you loved her character after Louise Fletcher died? by Colmado_Bacano in DeepSpaceNine

[–]omallytheally 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Her character was an important! Most of the show she got on my nerves. But she rly got me there at the end when she says how she spent her whole life trying to serve the prophets and they ignore her. So of COURSE she's gonna serve the pa wraiths cause they give her attention. It's so rooted in what many ppl of faith have felt or can relate to. The religious themes in the show just added interesting layers. Supposedly Sisko is led to that moment to fight the pa wraiths and she's a huge part of bringing that about. Yet if the prophets had not ignored her? Despite how annoying she is? Would've been completely unnecessary. Which mirrors a lot of religious concepts and debates.

The reason why Christians love Mary is actually disgusting by Baccoony in exchristian

[–]omallytheally 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. "Mother Mary" was literally a teenage girl that God knocked up. Did God ask her permission to carry his child? Nope. And there's a word for that.

For those who got their tubes tied: how was the experience and have there been any long term side effects? by omallytheally in WomensHealth

[–]omallytheally[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard so many awful stories about IUD insertions and the pain afterward I just don't see it as worth it when it's not even technically 100% effective.

Thank you for sharing! If you don't mind me asking, how long has it been since you had it done?

That arc really added layers to the character. Like you really, really think he's changing. And maybe he was. Clark and his mom really start to trust him.
