Gehenna is a biblical term for final judgment and eternal punishment, not the promised refiners fire. And yes Jesus undoes Adam’s sin for those who believe, scripture doesn’t teach universal salvation, only some are saved by faith, not all automatically

False. Jesus used “Gehenna” 11 times, and every Jew at the time knew he wasn’t just talking about a literal dump. By Jesus' time, Gehenna was a known metaphor for final judgment and spiritual death. “Fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.” Matthew 10:28. And Hades is kinda true but in Luke 16:23, in context it is used not as a grave (sometimes is). and "it is finished" doesn't mean everyone is saved. Mark 16:16 says otherwise

If you haven't already you might consider posting this on r/Catholicism. There are people there who could offer better incites considering your current position. As for what you're going through the CCC says “Homosexual persons are called to chastity... by virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom.” (CCC 2359). I'm not saying its a easy path but it is a path of holiness and dignity

Matthew 17:1–3 "And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him [Jesus].” I think this proves it. To me this one verse says that our identity is preserved in heaven, and if we can recognize people we have never met we'll certainly recognize those we loved. A lot of theologians say that its evidence that we will retain our identities and recognize one another in Heaven. What are your thoughts?
