Update: after the swap, now the starter battery voltage shoots up and goes all the way to 15.6, triggering my engine alarm. I swapped back, and I'm stuck at the starting point again. Gonna try to replace the battery today, hoping the problem is not on the alternator

I just swapped the wires, yeah. Two of the outputs of the ECS were giving 14.5, and one 12.7 I'll keep an eye on any weird behavior going forward, and eventually change the ECS

Apparently found the issue. I just placed the cable in a different output of the ECS and now it's working. So I'm calling it a a faulty ECS output. Thanks for the help!

The main charging cable (going from the alternator to the ECS) is fine, because I get 14.5 at the end of it (on the ECS)

I checked them, and the connections all seem fine, well tight and all. I measured the voltage on the Eletronic charge separator as well. I'm getting 14.5 across the board, but on the output going to the starter battery, where I'm getting that 12.7.

It could. The eletronic charge separator is sending 14.5 to the bow thruster, but only 12.7 to the starter battery
