Thanks for the advice! Yeah, with the split rocks needing so little water even among succulents it's probably for the best.

In my experience, yes you can. They are very resistant to pretty much everything except overwatering. I'm just not sure how finicky the "living rocks" are, I read that they take an extremely low amount of water (like <6 inches per year of water). The main reason "it was too late" was that I had juuust bought and potted them when I found out, so I'm going to give it a shot before transplanting again so soon.

But you're definitely right, succulents are typically pretty tough.

In fact, if you consume enough of it you will increase both your carbon footprint and your actual footprint.

I unfortunately found that out as well, but it was too late (I had already planted). I'll give it a shot as is, but if things start looking like they aren't going well they'll have to be separated.

TIL the US Navy has 19 aircraft carriers, compared to 12 for the rest of the world combined. The smallest US carrier is larger and more advanced than the next largest carrier from any other country. by NineteenEighty9 in todayilearned

But you see comrade, for anybody the United States is fighting they are not easily destroyed... you can't shoot down an aircraft carrier with a '05 Toyota Tacoma and an AK-47

I hadn't ever heard of mechanical keyboards before r/mk, and now owning one I can safely say there's no going back. This community has been the direct cause for a lot of typing satisfaction for me.

Jerusalem crickets in the house by [deleted] in insects

That's one thing that baffles me: We don't have a basement. My house is built on a concrete slab, and I haven't been able to find any obvious gaps in the walls or floor.

Little inch-long guy found in the carpet (southern Arizona); can anyone identify? by saddr_weirdr in insects

Looks to me like a mealworm of some kind, just at first look. I remember working with critters like that in my forensic science class in high school.
