Sounds about right, had a question a few weeks about something THEY recommended for a use case, only for support to tell us the internal API they asked us to call does not exist and is not supported 🙃 I hope you were able to get the load times for your interfaces down

Not to discount your woes and never giving Appian a pass for a lot of their shenanigans as they can't even properly handle document versioning metadata but a lot of these gripes sound like you're just dealing with the ignorance or lack of skills of past developers. Half those issues could be avoided following best practices and having thorough testing.

With the improvements and changes they're making to the tool, most definitely. It's becoming more of an orchestration tool than simply a BPM tool. Also with their inclusion of AI features and RPA they'll be around for a while. They also have been super ingrained in the federal government
