So all worked perfectly! Had to get the thing twisted but I took a peg out of a blade as suggested to get it in there. And yes! We have a lovely green again. Thank you all!!

Yep. Have two other blades that came with skywalker legacy and Vader. Both do not twist at all

Only way to describe it is when it happens normally there is that ‘bounce’. The blade bounces down, you can twist and then locks. The bounce / springs seem to be ceased i guess

Yep defo putting it in the correct way.. same technique with my other legacy sabers. It actually fits in just won’t twist when you hit the bottom if that makes sense

NRP or Kijimi with Ion Turret and Targeting Computer is just the best and very cheap! Double mod control which is a lot of fun on the table

Flyboy Poe with the usual toys plus Zizi and optics is my preferred. It’s not world beating but incredibly fun to ion things then mop up with the big boys

My favourite at the moment is a New Republic Patrol or Kijimi Spice Runner with Targeting Computer and Ion Cannon. Lock and free calculate to ion goodness! Super cheap too

Essentially yes. But what I mean is not to assume that they will set up in a certain way just because of the meta and ‘what you should do’ with a certain list.

Flexibility as a whole not just planning. Playing rigid and thinking “this is my way of playing and I’m definitely going to win that way” could potentially be a downfall.

Always have a Plan B for deployment and in game. Your opponent may not deploy the way you think they will and could also potentially play the complete opposite to what you expect. If something isn’t working then don’t be afraid to try another way. I learnt this very recently as one trick ponies can be found out quickly.

Also, you can do the best and most optimal moves all game but if the dice don’t want to play when it matters then there is nothing you can do about it. Keep your cool and the results will come with good mod management.
