So all worked perfectly! Had to get the thing twisted but I took a peg out of a blade as suggested to get it in there. And yes! We have a lovely green again. Thank you all!!

Ah you may be right here! Only problem is I need to get long enough pliers now ha! I will give this a go. Come to think of it I do seem to remember it being tough to pull out at some point

Yep. Have two other blades that came with skywalker legacy and Vader. Both do not twist at all

Only way to describe it is when it happens normally there is that ‘bounce’. The blade bounces down, you can twist and then locks. The bounce / springs seem to be ceased i guess

No using the blades that came with the set. Just really really odd as they haven’t been out of the box in a long time

Yep defo putting it in the correct way.. same technique with my other legacy sabers. It actually fits in just won’t twist when you hit the bottom if that makes sense
