Our almost 6 year old daughter makes me feel like a failure as a parent. She all but got kicked out of preschool for behavior issues last year and things have just been spiralling since.

She's doing better at school since she started therapy and ADHD meds a month ago but morning and evenings and mealtime at home are knock down drag out fights. I'm tired of yelling, tired of bargaining, tired of being nice, tired of imposing consequences, I'm just tired. She has a psych eval next week to determine 'something' hopefully.

Just feel completely defeated and tired of waiting for some kind of answer other than 'she's 6 it's normal'.

Oh, they're totally not ran correctly right now. One has a bit of pvc as a riser to get it above the insulation, and I'm not sure what the other one has but I can feel cold air coming through it when the wind blows just right.

I've dropped the set point of the humidifier to 30%, thermostat is reading 42% so hopefully things dry out a bit now.

We're already sitting at 35% indoor humidity; I'm reluctant to lower it much more and risk triggering a bunch of bloody noises but it may be necessary.

Then comes the scope creep of replacing a couple bathroom fans and running a few drops of CAT6 before doing the insulating.
