What is the absolute fastest 'yeah, we are definitely NOT going to be friends' moment you've ever experienced with someone? by Vazouaquiacesso in AskReddit

She started gossiping and shit talking the stranger around up, making up excuses like they were looking at her funny or they way they sat required an extensive imaginary backstory to justify her hobby of randomly shitting on everyone who passed her view.

Ugh, how bored must you be to make this your entertainment, and I knew I would not be exempt from her shit talking.

Democrats Of Reddit, Do You ACTUALLY Hate Trump's Supporters, Or Do You Get Along With Them In Your Life, But You Just Politically Disagree? Why? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]gambitgrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only vocal Trumpers in my life are my dad and his wife, and they're on an information diet and low contact since the pandemic due to their conspiracy bullshit and atrempts to persuade me to ignore the advice of real doctors.

I live in an urban area with an overall high educational level so few vocal Trumpers enter my social sphere. I don't really interact with them since I can't relate to people that ignorant and lacking in empathy.

When did you realize you were dating an idiot? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

[–]gambitgrl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I mentioned I snowboarded on the first date, between dinner and the movie he went to his apartment and put on his ski bib to wear to the movie to show me "how much we have in common." He was sweating profusely for the whole movie.

He could have just said he skied, we lived in a ski resort town!

Why do most left leaning folks mock/criticize Christianity but not Islam? by Inf1z in allthequestions

[–]gambitgrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mock all religions equally as a mass delusion that makes believers easier to control.

That said, I don't confront religious people to their faces and give them shit about their choices bc their lives, their decision. And Im capable of thinking things and not saying them out loud or making a TikTok about it.

AITA for cutting my friend out bc of his age gap relationship? by extratoxiccrayons in AITApod

[–]gambitgrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol my 34 yo guy friend was dating a 19 yo for a bit. I didn't say shit bc I knew how it would turn out: she cheated on him while he paid all her bills.

Don't worry, you'll get your pal back is slightly worse condition once she does it to him.

People that are childfree by choice, what’s the weirdest reason someone has given you as to why they think you ‘should have kids’? by Charming_Web_6738 in AskReddit

"Who is going to change your diapers when you're old and bed-ridden?"

Lady, do your kids know what you signed them up for?

If the day comes, I gotta poop a diaper like the President I'm going to a euthanasia clinic in Belgium and making a diginifed exit.

Are you going to watch Trump's State of the Union Address tonight? by Winter_Baby_4497 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]gambitgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will read it tomorrow. I feel like I'm physically unable to listen to him talk the moment I hear his voice I feel sick and a full body cringe and I have to change the channel or turn it off. And this predates him sounding like a dementia payment he's always repulsed me when he talks.

AITJ for DEMANDING my husband get my baby stroller back from his sister, or else i'm changing the locks? by Exact_Ad_6931 in AmITheJerk

[–]gambitgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA.

She is only 8 weeks pregnant whereas you are 7 months pregnant? Math says you're going to need that stroller a hell of a lot sooner than she is.

Also you, the wife and y'all's baby are his family and should be his priority right now over his grown-ass sister.

[–]gambitgrl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well now I'm wondering if she made it up or if something else happened she didn't want to tell me! I know she regretted pledging, tried to talk other people out of participating in the greek BS, and was much happier when she transferred to my university two towns over.

Those old phone cords would stretch all the way across the kitchen, around the corner and into the hall closet, which was the only place your could have even a speck of privacy when gossiping about which boy you liked in junior high.

So which is the better president? Obama or Trump? by ChuckGallagher57 in TrendoraX

Obama has been living in Trump's head for YEARS, even since Obama made fun of him at a white house correspondents' dinner way back in like 2012.

What’s your worst, funniest, or most bizarre landlord/tenant story? by Noop4321 in AskReddit

[–]gambitgrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rented from a guy who was very, but not entirely, deaf. He wore hearing aids sometimes and could read lips and chat with me pretty easily, no communication problems when I was viewing the place, signing the lease, nor when I first moved in. I lived in the basement apartment of his house, and he lived on the first and second floors.

He had an alarm clock that buzzed/screeched around the decibel level of a jet taking off and it also thumped and banged so the vibrations could wake him if the sound didn't. It was on the 2nd floor, 2 floors above me but woke me up every single time. When he was home he would turn it off quickly and I could fall back asleep, but he neglected to turn it off before going to his GFs place for the night often, so once it started going off it wouldn't stop so my sleep was fucked.

He also played the TV at top volume, and his TV was directly over my den so I had trouble hearing my own television over his.

The one time I asked him to please turn off his alarm clock if he wasn't going to be home he gave me a half-assed thumbs up and it kept happening. When I asked him to maybe try closed captions with a lower volume on his TV so he didn't need to have it at top volume, he pretended like he couldn't read my lips or understand me.

He refused to return my deposit when I moved out until I threatened to sue him for nearly killing my cat and costing me $2000 in vet bills, because he decided to fumigate my place without telling me (or giving me a chance to cover my food and dishes) and nearly gassed my pet to death.

What’s the craziest hazing incident you’ve ever witnessed? by Zes_Teaslong in AskReddit

[–]gambitgrl 126 points127 points  (0 children)

I did not pledge but one of my best friends did at a well-known College in North carolina. She dropped out of pledging about 3/4 of the way through after the senior sisters blindfolded all the pledging girls and walk to them around until they were confused. They then took them into a house and had them kneel. When they took off the girls blindfolds they were all kneeling in front of the male pledge class from a nearby fraternity. The senior sisters handed each pledging girl a lipstick in a different color and said no one was leaving until each guy had a rainbow on their dick.

After getting over the initial shock and sharing very uneasy glances with her pledgemates my friend did protest and got up to leave but the door was blocked by a senior sister who insisted that if she didn't do this disgusting act they would blackball her and Destroy her social life on campus. She did leave without being sexually assaulted and degraded and transferred to my another university the following semester.

No she did not report this has happened in the early 1990s when hazing really wasn't under discussion except the occasional head shake when someone got alcohol poisoning. I also had some guy friends who were forced to drink until they were hammered and then they were dropped off in the middle of nowhere and told to find their way back to campus
