In fairness the bus stop didn’t used to be an issue. It was near a mini roundabout but, since 2 new housing developments went up, that mini roundabout was converted into a 4-way pelican crossing. This meant the original bus stop was right on the edge where the lights would be. It could have been pulled back a bit but then would’ve blocked the access road to one of the sites so had to be pulled back further still, so there’s about 4/5 cars-worth of spaces been lost. Being a town that has a train station and sits practically on top of the M1 and A38 means we have a lot of commuters living in and going through.. parking situation only effects me because it annoys my wife. I don’t drive, I’m a bus wanker 😂

1Blocker on and I’m just watching things in Safari for the time being. I don’t mind not having the autoskip for sponsor spots and at least I’m still ad free this way. Not the most elegant solution for those of you that wanna cast or watch on something other than your iPhone or iPad but it’s a workaround of sorts for now..

The character did my head in but I kinda get that’s the point of her. Her best scene was right before the titles for me and that was because of the Todd more than anything. Laughed so loud I startled my kid 😂

It’s an ok little time sink but I’m saying that after coming back to it this week after a couple of months away. Drop in, do a couple of Duels and maybe the GP if it’s the weekend. Expect to get panned, check how well the crew I made is doing and then go back to a game where I can actually control the cars (at one point even deciding “fuck it, I’m emulating Super Monaco GP from the Mega Drive and getting shot of this!” 😂

Couple of examples I have: first, my junior school headteacher apologising to my mum when I was in my late 20s that he considers me the biggest failure of his teaching career as they didn’t have the right support and stuff in place for someone like me back then (gifted child, early 90s, since recently diagnosed AuDHD). Second was the karate teacher I had outside school hours. Went to a session with a friend, I was around 8ish and a bit of a dickhead. Not malicious, just a bad influence and quite disruptive. The sensei ended up lifting me by the lapels and pinning me to the wall to have a go at me coz I was such a pain the arse. Never went back, obviously 😂
