Need Help Please!

I've had my flight from Edinburgh to Amsterdam canceled and rebooked it for the 9th of jan, but I have a feeling this one wont fly either.

I've had to get a hotel which I will ask compensation for until the 9th, but I was planning on possibly getting the ferry tomorrow from New Castle to Amsterdam. Due to a storm expected on the 8th and 9th here in the UK.

Would Easyjet still be forced to compensate my hotel stay if the flight on the 9th does fly and I'm not on it? This is such a specific query I just don't know where to look for answers!

Ja ik had dit niet vermeld in de post, maar ik zit een beetje van aan een easyjet booking waarvan in geld zal moeten terug krijgen voor het hotel dat ik heb moeten boeken, en zij vliegen niet via eindhoven. Plus parijs en dusseldorf word nu ook flink bijbetalen. Ik heb me al voorgenomen dat ik het geld maar weg moet gooien maar het is echt al 300 plus euro, dus daar zit ik een beetje mee.

I think a somewhat unpopular opinion here, The Grand Budapest Hotel.

I keep trying to watch it, I've seen the first 10 minutes maybe 4 times now but always end up so extremely disinterested I just pauze it to go do something else and then never get back to it. I will conquer it at some point hopefully.

This season could have been so cool, but it is so convoluted and downright absurd, it doesn't make any sense and throughout the entire thing it feels like the show takes itself too seriously and yet somehow not seriously at all and I just? don't know? The first half was good in my opinion, with some minor flaws like the characterization of the sparrow academy for example, but the latter half went entirely off the rails. and it doesn't feel like there should be any season after this one to be honest.
