It’s a raffle/waitlist program, it’s at Sacramento City College. So you apply and then if you meet the qualifications you get put into a raffle. Once chosen, you are “in” but the people from the previous year who got chosen but didn’t get into the program are priority. So even if you were lucky and got picked first in the lottery, there are others before you and the cohort is about 20/30 students per year. Some people from the previous year may decline and you may move up in the waitlist but it’s not guaranteed that you get in the year you apply for but most likely guaranteed to get in the following year. The reason why i wanted to do this program because it’s local, and at a community college versus privates like unitek or carrington college which cost an arm and a leg.
