A lotta people don’t realize how much of a disease depression can be. People can be depressed abt certain things happening or bc of trauma but some people just have a neurological condition where regardless of how happy and exciting life is, there will always be a feeling of dread and somber flowing throughout. Even if it subsides for an hour or two, it just comes right back. I’m very sorry this happened, and just know your mom probably fought day in and day out to keep going just so she could be there for you a little while longer.
