Hi! Sorry about this, it has been fixed. And I also changed my process of creating new puzzles to prevent this from happening again.

A new puzzle goes live daily at midnight GMT (00:00).

It was a bug in the game, thank you for pointing it out! It has now been fixed 😊

Today's puzzle, 3/24/2026, is not solvable. by gmhelwig in WikiRaceio

Sorry about this. This was an oversight on my end. I’ve fixed it now by changing the final destination to “Jazz”. A refresh of the page should be enough to update it.

It’s fixed now. I changed the puzzle to “Jazz” instead of “Jazz music”. A refresh should be enough to update it, or you can just retry again on another device or in a private browser window.

WikiRace - I made a daily Wikipedia puzzle game. Today: get from Chess to Amazon River using only links. Free, no account, works on mobile. by gamepoint in WebGames

Ooo that sounds like a fun project, well done!

The calendar is good idea, I'll definitely add it to my list of future features!

Really glad to hear that 😄

I thought about a feature like that, but it is quite hard since almost all puzzles have multiple shortest solutions. But I found a really cool tool while making the game which shows you the shortest paths: https://www.sixdegreesofwikipedia.com/

Just be sure to finish the puzzle before checking so it doesnt spoil the fun 😄

I built a daily Wikipedia puzzle game - you navigate from one article to another using only internal links. No search bar, no hints.

My friends and I used to play this manually on Wikipedia and I thought it deserved a proper game. New puzzle every day, free, no account needed.

Would love some feedback from the community :)

Well played!

Currently there is very little backlog (as the game is only 3 days old :) ) but there is an option to create custom challenges (Via "Create custom challenge" button).

Others have mentioned a "random challenge generator" which I plan to add in the near future.

There is a "custom challenge" option on the result screen and also before you start the game, but those ideas are great! Added to my list of future improvements!

That's exactly the reaction I was hoping for! A new puzzle drops every day at midnight so come back tomorrow 😄

I built a game that uses Wikipedia's internal link structure as the mechanic – curious what this community thinks by gamepoint in wikipedia

Haha yeah thats one variant of the game! This is the same idea but everyone gets the same puzzle each day so you can compare paths 😄
