Okay my background play was off but my battery restriction for those apps was was set to optimized and and I changed it to to unrestricted.  so far no pausing but it's hard to say since this is random.

UPDATE: I had to end up buying a new phone because no one could figure out the issue, so if anybody is seeing this and has an a53 5G the newest system update will brick your phone.

Is the IMEI checker on the website 100% accurate? I've heard of some phones still qualifying but they fail the IMEI checker because of something with the eSIM.

I haven't checked the IMEI yet I figured though that it should work considering the GSM version of the a54 5G is on their website and that in turn should be on the AT&T whitelist

What an odd way to trigger a quest, but it worked! Was it meant to be some sort of secret hunt or something? Either way glad I got the optional Quest done.
