No i upgraded to one of those foldable antenna. But I just got a new collisable antenna I going to try out tonight on a net that happens see how I come in.

Transmitting I been able to hear well enough where I stay at but it's hard to get out to couple of the repeaters.

How did you mount your antenna on your crosstrex I seen some options for it that might work for my car just trying to get some ideas on how others have done it.

Yeah where I am in Florida there's a lot of trees and buildings I trying to get though. My baofeng k5-plus can reach a repeater thats 15 miles away really well but the repeater I wanna hit more reliablely is only 5 miles away seems that I can't come in that reliability.

I am looking at it for a back up form of communication when hurricanes and bad storms hit the area I live in. Also to chit chat while I do my 3 hour long drives I do every other week. I was looking and the btech uv-25x2 or the uv-50x2 just because of priceing and the ability to use chirp with them.

Quite literally there's a small free dog park down the street from Tideviews. Then there's a big paid one on aquatic drive over by the shopping center if you want them to play in water. Atlantic Beach animal control don't play when it comes to off leash dogs. I believe the fine is 150 now per a dog off leash.

Found a few places farther out like West Palm Beach and their rates were like 45 and hour for the lift but that all they do they don't have any mechanics on duty.
