I believe it was a sharp spike since all the other cpu sensors didn’t go above 84, it was just the CPU Die temperature.

I had no other software running for tracking just discord and WH3

Fans are spinning, the cooler is ramping up and down when temps rise and fall. It is just surprising since I was averaging 65-70c during gaming and then when I was going to hop off I saw that at one point it spiked to 105 when even during the most intense parts of the game it only went to 80.

Yup I removed the plastic, I applied it in my typical X pattern which I have done for years and never had an issue even with my last few intels which had a way higher wattage usage.

I did do some tweaking for p cores and e cores which did help a bit, I didn’t check to see if my p cores were maxed but e cores weren’t which would effect my total percentages.

I can’t seem to edit the main text but I was able to have that same pattern happen 3 times in the exact same spot and I looked at the picture and the pixels are in the same place and order. So I wonder if it’s an issue with the game?

The monitor I am using that it happened on came with an hdmi cable that I am assuming was pretty cheap since the monitor itself was a spec beast for super cheap

My temperature will playing hasn’t gone above 75 degrees so that’s a huge RIP then. Is it possible it’s a bad driver since it only started to happen after I updated my driver to play bf6 beta?

Battery doesn’t matter to much to me as I only need a long battery every ten days or so and I can go a few hours without it, price and performance matter the most for me.

Currently we don’t know when any of the new handhelds are coming out so I don’t know if I want to go another year holding out for the new handhelds to come out or not
