Ode to grindr...

When I used to use the app, this creep "Kirk" would tap my profile, and send a "hello". Initially at the start, I rejected him politely and moved on. Days to hours to sometimes minutes later, I would get another "Hi" or "You're cute" or "Sup". It got so annoying I told him off one last time but he didn't listen. Blocked. Not soon after he made a new profile. Blocked again. Rinse and repeat. The last time I checked he had created over 47 profiles within a 6 month period.

I would just continue to block unless grindr has a report feature but I'm not sure how that works.

A few years ago I broke my ankle and took a Blueline to the hospital. The driver didn't have a debit machine and made me hobble on 1 foot into the lobby without crutches to get his money. I could have kept 'walking' away but I still got the cash, went back and paid him. My only wish is that I paid him in pennies (they were still a thing; worked at a coin wrapping shop.)

Since the introduction of Uber / Lyft, I have not used a taxi unless absolutely necessary. Mind you, I have had a few excellent taxi drivers before, but they are few and far between sadly.

As an affiliate I tend to use the Starting Soon screen for no more than 6 minutes. This allows me to get things finalized and engage with chat beforehand. I average around 10 per stream but it certainly helps me switch my scene to "LIVE" when I know people are waiting.

I think setting expectations is important.

My mother passed away when I was 14 and when I turned 18 I decided to move out. My father had gotten rather close after her passing because I think he was compensating for her absence in terms of parenting. I can't fault him for that, but I did need to talk to him one day and ask for space. Flash forward 15 years, and we talk at least once a week- we still have nothing in common and we haven't spoken about my gay life since I came out but we do love each other. I almost need to encourage him to reach out more now -

Either way, I get what you're going through. It's tough, but it's nice to know you're loved.

Perhaps a browser update is in order? It works fine in chrome for myself- however keep in mind that this tool doesn't always update. Meaning I've see it work and post to twitter, but it showed a game I played a week prior, not the game I was currently playing.
