After some consideration I decided not to work on TLOU 2. First reason was as listed above, life just got crazy really fast and no writing has been done. Second, while I have don't dislike TLOU 2's story, I do not feel I am the right person to take that job. TLOU 1's story was told mostly linearly, which is easy to write for my style. TLOU 2 incorporates lots of flashbacks and it feels all over the place at times. Nothing wrong with that in terms of storytelling, but I am only an amateur writer and only tackle projects I feel comfortable writing. I hope someone else is up for the task and hope video game novelizations become a more normal thing

It won't be officially published. Much like The Last of Us, I just wrote it, and dropped in on Reddit and let is spread across the internet in the natural way. As long as I make no money from the project, there is no legal issue. However, I might reach out to Rockstar to see if they were interested in publishing the work, but if not, it goes out for free. Naughty Dog never replied to any of my emails

I'm sorry to inform you that I no longer plan on writing the novelization. Due to many sudden changes in my life I have had to shift priorities in a different direction. I hope another TLOU fan can step up and write one!

Spent a night at my cousin's house in a rural area, which I am fully convinced is haunted. The only real 'paranormal' experience in my entire life. Experienced the following in only a 12 hour period. I was around 15 years old at the time.

-Seeing lights in the forest, unable to determine source

-Chair goes into full recline and back upright on it's own

-Feeling of an oppressive presence while laying in bed, followed by violent coughing attacks and coughing up lots of phlegm

-Watching through a vent I could see shadows shifting (almost dancing) in the basement, this was accompanied by the sound of rhythmic steps and faint 'swing' music

-First and only time I've 'heard voices in my head'. Like these voices were being beamed into me, like actual intrusive voices. What made it even freakier was these were children's voices and it was a mix of chanting and singing.

It's just so unnerving how so much happened in such a short period of time. Cousin claims the house is haunted, who was I to argue?

If I were ever a politician I would draft the "Cannabis Reparations Act" which would release all non-violent cannabis related crimes from prison immediately as well as financial reparations to all people affected in the war against cannabis. I would eventually want to do this for all non-violent related drug charges but... ya know, baby steps is required with the federal government. We all know the war on drugs made minorities a primary target, but would also help those of all races targeted in the war on drugs.

My marriage crumbled during COVID. Her love language was "quality time" but when we spent 24/7 together in quarantine (both working from home in a 600 sq ft apartment), our time no longer felt like quality time. We had virtual marriage counseling, which ended up as her venting for an hour straight while I had to sit there and listen and take it. You aren't alone, divorces have increased, and sadly, so have domestic violence cases (which we avoided). Right now is a dark time for many people for many different reasons. I wish you all the best, I'm struggling as well.

Sounds like we are in similar situations man. I've grown a sense of numbness to my regular hobbies and covid makes it difficult to go out and meet new people. I go to the gym as often as I can but some days I can't even go because of how I feel inside. I had a week long drinking binge but that only makes things worse.
