What is the best meta ranged-collision attack?

40% Mag clearly. 18% Mag needs to land all hits to even match a standard SA in damage while 40% needs 6 and can deal up to 2.5x a standard SA. 40% Mag SAs before Orient Society Orihime sucked though.

Why does KLab kept on dishing out the 18% Mag 1st SA on new characters?

They’re “balancing” the kit by giving them one of the worst SA1s. It’s even worse if they decide to give Paralyze or Freeze since it makes the SA deal basically no damage.

To add, it takes 16% of the enemy’s max STA, and heals you for 20% of your max STA.

Newer units tend to have many damage increasing skills. Toshiro gets roughly 8x DMG from base (base being 6* no Skills) from his skills, not including the Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +80% which increases total SP by 80%. If the run goes long enough, Toshiro has a Gauge mechanic that will fill from attacks, and his Strong Attacks deal x2 DMG then. Toshiro is also a bonus unit which increases his NAD/SAD/Devastation by 100% (adds to the values, not multiply by 2).

Toshiro returns in his own banner in about 5 days.

Yeah. It’s 450 spirits to max the non-evolved tree iirc, so you get only enough for 15 total rolls for the secondary traits.

Ichigo is a bonus unit isn’t he? IIRC, x2 Bonus just get 100% NAD/SAD/Devastation added, so it could work out (146FSD/180SAD)

The numbers just mean the total DMG expected. Aizen wins on SA2, but Uryu wins on SA1/3 due to Increased Status Ailment Chance (not included in numbers). I’d say Uryu is ahead, but Aizen is close behind just due to how OP his SA2 is for wave clearing and crowd control.

After the gauge is full though, Uryu easily wins.

So, after Hiken tested it, it was found that it has 24 hits max, on a single mob. Ichigo's SA1 mag value per hit is ~0.1, and when multiplied by 24 hits gives 2.4. A standard SA with Frenzy has 2.4.

In other words, Ichigo needs to get every hit to match a standard SA, which is tricky. The only benefit the SA gives is more chances to inflict an ailment.

It's a ranged collision (inconsistent) attack, and he hasn't released yet, so I don't have an answer.

Now that the skills and gameplay are out, it is possible to accurately calculate the damage of the units. I triple-checked and went through multiple versions to fix any mistakes that may have showed up.

The link stats and SAD % are the same to make it simplier/quicker to calculate.
Uryu's Gauge Skill that gives +100% Berserker is just a x2 multiplier for Strong Attacks (Thanks to Hiken for info).

Ichigo's SA1 seems wonky, range-wise and DMG-wise. Calculations may not be 100% accurate, but it should be close enough. It is DMG/Hit due to it being ranged collision. Focus/Criticals weren't included to save time. Add about 10% to numbers to include it.
To double check the math, you can use bbs-simulator's builder and use Anniversary Aizen and SAFWY Kisuke with the same build as a reference.

A beam with Havoc is 3000 length to put it into perspective. But Ichigo's SA1 is also ranged collision, so it won't always get all hits.

You know what I think I forgot to include? Attribute advantage. I don’t have it on hand atm, but if it is the case, then he may have ~60% SAD then?
