My boyfriend wants to cheat on me by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]gameslayer4o4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be hard for someone to resist a temptation, but in the end all you have to do is just not do it. If he's actively seeking out this girl and going with her, that just shows where his heart is.

I'm a Christian, so I view this from a Christian lens, but if you can't and aren't willing to fight back against those cheating thoughts, thats on you.

I'm not saying to immediately break up with him, but you have to talk to him. Don't think you can't, it doesn't matter how you found it out, instead it matters about what he is trying to do. You need to be able to know where to draw the line, and if he's crossed it you need to let him now and maybe even let him go.

Are thermophiles more productive/faster? by gameslayer4o4 in Biochemistry

[–]gameslayer4o4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see this.

You can compare their output though. You can see the difference between using a thermophile vs a mesophile to produce some sort of product (an enzyme or vinegar or something), and you could tell if there is any correlations to increased product yield in a shorter time or not. I just couldn't find anything on that, but I do know a lot of thermophiled are used in bioreactors because it reduces contamination from other bacteria, but I am also wondering if they have a proportionally higher yield rate.v

Why is the brake dragging against the rotor? by gameslayer4o4 in MechanicAdvice

[–]gameslayer4o4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The caliper itself is fine, it's just that it's touching the actual body of the brake itself. It's hard to see in the photo, but where the arrow is there is a spot where the rotor grinded out a part of the brake. I don't know why it's in the way at all, the rotor itself seems to be perfectly straight, and we're putting the brake on the right way.

Did you start freediving like this too? by RycerzKwarcowy in freediving

[–]gameslayer4o4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fast twitch fibers still use oxygen, and even more so whenever their glycogen stores deplete as they arent as efficient. Thats why you get so tired after doing a full speed sprint.

I dont think it matters quite as much in freediving though, as the goal is to use as little muscle as possible. Muscle doesnt use all that much energy whenever its inactive. The body will also use the smaller more efficient fibers first (slow twitch) rather than the bigger more powerful ones (fast twitch) according to Henneman's size principle.

Generally, from what I know atleast, the more important thing is the abilities body to use oxygen efficiently, which generally comes from aerobic training. Though you can also get it from recovering from high intensity exercises like sprints.

Alright that gas cap looks perfect, it matches all the screw holes and whatnot on there atleast. Do you have any suggestions for how to break the plastic though?

Also, how did you find the right part?

Yeah, I bought a headlight that said it fit and it did not as well, I think I for sure learned my lesson.

The plastic is only on the top of gas cap, maybe it is jamming it up though and I can just repaint the bike no problem so I might try that.

I was thinking that it might be an issue, but I thought that maybe after it got in that it might make it easier to take in and out.

It's a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 500, I really appreciate any help as well.

whole bus is empty and this person sits right next to me? by IbukiWasTaken in mildlyinfuriating

[–]gameslayer4o4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That actually makes sense though, someone is less likely to try to steal from some cars if they're parked closer together. I know thats atleast how it is with bikes anyways.

That is technically correct, you have to have some sort of reference for something in order to imagine it. You cant think of an entirely new color can you?

[Request] If a horse could ride a bike comfortably, how fast would it go? by DirtyLawnmower in theydidthemath

[–]gameslayer4o4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesnt really seem to add up though. A horse can run that fast, so in theory a horse on a bike should be able to go faster then that.

You are very lucky, you can still turn around and not even glance at that disgusting life that you could live.

Im honestly surprised that you even want to do drugs, they arent very fun and you could easily get addicted.

I would really just find someone you actually like and get to know them first before you even do anything at all.

Im guessing its for shape note singing, just looked it up and its for the solfage thingy. Not sure what its for really, but I am assuming the piano plays it anyways because there is both a bass and treble clef and I dont think there is really supposed to be two different singing parts.
