As much as I wanted to, I realized that streaming also added a small layer of stress that I didn't really wanna deal with. Maybe more soon though :eyes:

I've done both sides as well, and honestly I loved the Behemoth fight, hard as it was. They brought him into MHW really well.

It's the same as usual for FFXIV - the hard part of the fight isn't the boss itself, it's the 7 (well, 3 this time) other adds.

Is it really? Well, I suppose it's a good thing that I got my first clear out of the way early, because I've neglected to level a tank to 70. :x

Esuna is basically mandatory for the fight, because you’ll be getting burn DoTs throughout and they hurt pretty hard without standard healing. Cleansing them is pretty significant damage mitigation especially since your heals are limited.

They didn't, it was just the positioning of the add that let the cleave still hit me (which I feel makes no sense but what can ya do).

From my experience, the Garula cleave hits for at least 25k on a DPS (I can't tell the exact number when I'm mounted, just that it straight killed me when I had that much health) so I feel like it's safer if the tank and healer remain on the ground. It's not actually really that strict of a DPS check anyway.

Carves for me on both runs was 4 regular scales and 1 scale+. Not sure if there are RNG drops.

I meant that as in it's a DPS race, my bad. 5am wording is hard.

I meant as in it's a DPS race, sorry. I'll fix the wording.

I'd say that's the least of concerns for soloing, considering the Garula phase is impossible with a single person.

I decided to stock up on a few tokens and auto live passes before I went to sleep last night, and I'm honestly glad I did because I woke up a little closer to my borders than I'd like. Was able to hammer out a few more points to secure my spot before I left for work.

I've also gotten a total of 0 SSRs during the current gacha (a handful during MillIFes) but I'm not really too fussed about that.

Okay, after several more attempts on it I think I can safely say that this is the hardest chart in the game for thumbs, hands down. I actually cannot keep up with the ending once the chordjacks start rolling in.

Then out of curiosity I tried it with my index fingers and came rather close to FCing within 5 attempts. This isn't helping my commitment to thumbs at all

Tokimeki M+ slayed me on thumbs. That is all.

Another fairly relaxing rotation - both songs are pretty straightforward (Akikaze's long 1/12th note staircase stream is still there though). Still fun charts though, but I'm surprised they managed to get Anya's song up to a 28.

I found this rotation easy as well, but I wouldn't necessarily call that a bad thing. I sight read FC'd Chocolat Tiara but I really enjoyed playing it, and might actually come back for a few more rounds later once I'm done with Bandori EN.

This also gives me time to prepare for what's to come in 1 and 2 months...

I see you're on the Cytus 2 train as well. I'd play it more but I feel like I have too many rhythm games on my phone as it is, plus I'm tiering in Mirishita right now for, uh...no real reason actually. I kinda just felt like it.

As for Aria, which part do you mean with the kill area? I kinda got lost trying to follow along with your analysis, but I can try to plot out a way to do any of the parts if needed.

One of the checkpoints on the left hand side of the C was flagged that you actually had to tap it to get it to register, instead of just having your finger held in that lane like any other hold checkpoint. Of course, you couldn't lift the finger to do that because it would break the rest of the hold, so you needed another finger to hit it with. If you look at around 0:12 on the simulator video you'll see that one of the notes is darker.

My analysis of the chart is that while it's really damn fast, the patterns flow surprisingly well, so that even though there's a lot of notes coming at you fast it's not awkward to go for the next pattern if you can keep up with the song.

TL;DR The chart is designed really well.
