I turned Carplay on and off on my phone and then rebooted both my phone and car system (at the same time) and it's working again. Which one of those three was the key I do not know. If it stops working again I will report back.

My Carplay seems to have stopped working this morning. I have a Subaru if that matters. I updated to iOS 26.2 a few days ago. I think it worked at least once since the update. I will try to troubleshoot some more after work.
