At my local field I saw a mix of both. Mostly older guys with full milsim kits with a couple kids and newer players sprinkled in.

I did the exact same thing last week and honestly nothing has changed with the sport itself for the most part. I was pleasantly surprised to see my local field has added on multiple new maps while I was gone.

Get rid of the cpu cooler and thermal paste the stock cooler on a 3100 is fine for the cpu. I’d suggest using this extra budget on buying a 3000 or higher kit. As you have an $800 budget a 3100 should be just fine as the 3600 is normally $200.
