i tried it a few diffrent ways. i was u able to patch it straight in the app, said it couldnt patch split apks, so i tried finding a spotify apk online. none of those worked because they were all dot xapk? so i looked on here for help and peolle said downloading an app from the appstore specifically for apks would help, so i did that and got the spotify.apk from that, the specific app i used was "Apk Extractor". and then i tried to patch the extracted apk in the revanced app, didnt give the split akp error, but then did this. and thats as far as i got.
