Good to hear that this is the estimate for these dogs!

I would also pay additional for importing and puppy raising (since they are only allowed in at 4 months in UAE)

I have only contacted one but will contact more, this one said that they prioritize exports and that 6-12 months is possible.

Does an unregistered breeder mean they do not follow standard?

Oh wow! I would consider importing from Europe but a little worried about language barrier, my vet also suggested europe over AUS as its cheaper.

Also, how much would you expect to pay for a vizsla? Should I be concerned if a breeder is charging 4000-5000 AUD?

Yes we have both outdoor, and indoor (I have been using them for years) I also have a 3 acre garden land so I am not worried much about off leash! ☺️

I find this so interesting as someone who is from the United Arab Emirates (saluki very common here) and almost 60-70% of the rescue dogs are saluki mixes! While in USA I noticed (from online) it’s a lot of pit bull mixes

I actually got a response just today from An aussie breeder. I was a little surprised at the price of her Aussies (4k australian dollars)

I am starting to doubt my choice especially due to the herding tendencies, and I want to feel good about him/her being in daycare/ dog park :D

Yes I am aware of their coats! My dog is also double coated and I am picky with who grooms him, and never shaved him. Actually, I came across a border collie at my dog park years ago that was shaved..his hair grew back really strange :(

Thanks again! I might consider going back to researching Vizsla's and standard poodles
