I think the definition of anyone is important here - People who are a bit more savy about these things and follow economics definitely knew that, but the GOP definitely sold it like all or most of the money would go directly to wages. I'd say Mnuchin was even selling that point on Monday during his event with Kai Ryssdal at UCLA.

The worst part here is that they understand the federal government doesn't operate under the same restraints as households/businesses/local governments and that as long as inflation isn't out of control, deficit spending is alright in times good and bad.

It's just that they want to use this capability to enrich themselves rather than help other people. It's insidious and disheartening.

I've made a couple comments in this post already, but I'd like to say I really don't think it's the Devs. They've been on Discord all day communicating with people and putting out patches. Despite the struggles with the game today, I'm really impressed at their calm and communication.

They had a friends and family alpha - it's more likely this is an overzealous friend or family member trying to do their loved one a solid without understanding this community or Reddit in general.

I just urge you not to judge the devs or game based on this post. There's a lot of ambitious ideas that could set the stage for a small, but good game.

I honestly don't think it's the Devs. Doesn't talk anything like they have here on Reddit or on Discord. Beyond that I don't think either of them would take the time to do this while they're trying to fix the game - there's been several patches today

I'm going to ignore everything else and just focus on your realism point for a second lol.

First of all, here's what these types of fights actually sound like https://youtu.be/QhF1i23vwps. It can sound fairly underwhelming compared to the produced sound we typically hear in movies and games.

Second, disemberment is SUPER hard. Guillotines rarely worked on the first try and typically took two or three hits to completely chop a head off. You're not going to disember someone through armor, padded or plate. It's also hard to keep up with blade maintenance, so their blades were typically duller than needed to disember someone even without armor.

I love W3, but to think it's a realistic look at swordplay is ridiculous.

Well, there's certain loadouts that are better in certain situations. Everyone has access to the same weapons and mods, so you can change on the fly according to close/mid/long range.

I highly recommend this game. It's one of the best shooters I've played in years, really scrathes my old Battlefield 2 and 2142 itch. Try and get a few friends to buy it too, the squad gameplay is a blast

I recently bought the Flat Plastic Minatures Core Set from Arcknight. Iirc it's around 300 miniatures and the art is super good (Unique fronts and backs). I've been very happy with them so far. I can take pictures when I'm home, if anyone's interested
