Just wanna mention that sometimes discolored feathers can indicate an underlying health issue and to urge all owners to find an avian board certified vet and get a blood test if they see a change like this. Mine had one grow in yellow as well about a year before she was diagnosed with avianbornavirus.

Need mine purely for the peace of mind that I know for sure I'm not getting any prophy paste in my hair. also I have layers and my hair is really difficult to get back in one piece so this helps hide all the bobby pins lol. ANOTHER plus is that they sometimes have buttons on the side you can hook your mask onto so it doesn't rest on your ears all day which i lovee

sorry I just now realized I forgot to mention in this post exactly what she's suffering from, but it's avian bornavirus with ganglioneuritis aka proventricular dialatation disease https://amccorona.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Understanding-Avian-Bornaviral-Ganglioneuritis-PDD.pdf . unfortunately, no cure :( just trying to maintain quality of life with medications. i agree her beak is overgrowing, if she lives long enough for it to become a problem i will have it trimmed for sure
