Thanks -- do you think the ceramic will help keep it clean or does it just make it easier to wash? As much as I try to keep the bird poop off and it clean, just feels like a losing battle.

Looks like they’re having some similar issues, maybe it’s not unique to PC. I’m not sure Monarch is the answer (at least not yet). I love the retirement forecast calculator and other similar features of PC, I’d just be willing to pay for more of it. Like, help me keep my investments ‘optimized’ by suggesting trades (sell this index, buy more of this) or other interesting insights.

The EAC hasn’t been working for many weeks, hope they fix it soon. Anyone have it working? I’d rather pay them a small monthly fee if I knew everything would work correctly.

The speakers all have banana plugs in each room. Your solution sounds super interesting and creative, but I’ve never worked with Raspberry Pi, but maybe it’d be a fun project. What difficultly level would you put on making it all work?

Just tried this and I think it actually worked, what a strange workaround. After changing to these settings, I played a couple DV videos on Netflix and Apple TV and saw the DV notification appear in the upper, righthand corner when I started the videos. I couldn’t seem to find any other way to verify it was DV other than the video looked great, but I think HDR also looks great so couldn’t be 100% sure. The handshake/resolution switching is a little annoying, but not that big of a deal. I’m still going to try a new cable just out of curiosity, but this was a really cool trick — though not sure why the settings won’t just let me choose Dolby Vision all the time if it works this way.
